There are definitely things I would do different…the gift process is one of them. I agree that I would focus less on gifts. One I have done since my boys were small was to put symbols on the gifts instead of their names. The reason I started was because they would open their gifts and rewrap them while my husband and I were out milking the cows. I thought once they started getting married I would be able to be “normal” and use names….not so. They liked the guessing factor of stamped images.
And they still shake the package and sneak a peek if possible. Haha
