Babe and I made it

Oh….the storm was awful. On our tin roof it sounded like something terrible was going on. The weather radio was blaring and Babe and I huddled in the corner. The yard is a mess but all is well.

Babe is my dog in case you are wondering.

More weather coming in later tonight. More prayers going up.

Wednesday Desk mess

Busy day. Very small amount of rain. Doubt it is in the rain gauge. But thankful and praying more on the way soon.

Work desk Wednesday is messy. Working on a birthday gift .

Well…Did that make sense. Some day I will learn how to do this blog thing.

Anyway UKmaryanne  has a great deal of talent and I have copied several of her post in the past. I have made each of the grands Kennedy word books and other cute ideas she came up with.The craziest was the three tiered card. Oh goodness I must have been crazy to think It would turn out as good as hers. Good thing no one around here knows the difference.

Now she is into book folding . I have got to learn this …it is awesome.

Chapter Two

Saying “good by”ever gets any easier even when it is animal in nature. They have been part of our lives for the better part of 10 years, at least the big mamas. We have enjoyed watching them take care of  their babies and cried when we one didn’t make it. They have gotten lost and found and demanded attention when we got to hung up on something else.

Now they have a new home and while I am thankful someone come to the rescue instead of having to run them through the sale barn I am missing them and so is Babe (the dog).
