It is that time of the year when we need to mow ankle deep grass but don’t dare disturb the new growth of surprise lilies. They show up over night and are such a pleasant surprise. The most beautiful coral-red color, which looks faided out in the pictures but trust me….they are grand.
Sorry about the poor photo. Once while in high school I was blessed to have a dress this same color. It really is bright and well…can you tell I love this flower? Look them up…these pictures don’t do them justice. Nerine Bowdenll (maybe)is the official name…around here every one calls them naked ladies.( the leaves don’t show up until after the grand show is over.) Enjoy Your weekend.Maybe I will get a better picuture before they are gone.
