They’ve closed the WHOLE road??? What the dickens are they doing there?
I know that our road people can do some daft things sometimes, but they don’t usually close off a whole road. They do one side of the road and close that side off to traffic, but leave the other side open, and use temporary traffic lights so that each side gets a turn at going along the road and everyone is kept happier. Then of course, when they’ve finished working on the one side, they begin on the other side and close that side off.
Has the bridge itself been declared dangerous?
Well whatever reason … this is going to make life …. ‘interesting’. Yes. Let’s look on it as ‘interesting’.
Sometimes obstacles are put in our way in order to ‘force’ us to see what it is that we’re missing. Maybe by going a different root, you’ll learn something you didn’t know before but that you need to know, for reasons that might not initially become clear to you… but …. you are being led to something or to learn something, which could be about you, about someone else, or about something which you’ll need now or at some point in the future.
He doesn’t put obstacles in our life for no reason.
Have a truly ‘interesting’ journey next time you travel the new road to town.
Lots of love to you Bev. ~ Cobs.xxx
Yes…the problem is the bridge. Not just this bridge but a lot of them in our state of Mississippi.Don’t know if they were built too long ago or maybe improperly but they have been closed. They look fine from above but since I’m not down under them I don’t really know the problem I just know I don’t want to be on one when it crumbles. I’m sure this has caused head bumps in the postal service and getting the kids to school in a few weeks will be a challenge.

*nods* I can imagine! Still …. maybe after this, you’ll have a new bridge, all brilliantly stable and ready to rock and roll on! 😀
