First it was “The Religion of Peace.” We soon understood that this was not a valid description of Islam. The horrific terror attacks around the world was a wake up call for many countries.
But ironically, after the terror attack using our own airplanes in NY, which took the lives of over 3000 Americans; and the attack on the Pentagon, and of course the plane which was intentionally crashed by passengers who knew that their plane was being used as a missile – instead of anger at Islam, the Left dug in their heals and consoled the Muslims of America because they felt unfairly targeted.
This began the love affair between the Left and Islam, and it continues to this day.
