An article inspired by the question-
“We all talk of ‘Christian brothers’ being ‘united in the faith’. Loosely translated we could call it ‘Doctrinal unity’. But how much unity of doctrine is necessary to qualify another as a ‘Christian brother’. Any comments”?
Christian unity is desirable and something that we should strive for and maybe even pray for. “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard . . . .for THERE the Lord commanded the blessing, even life for evermore”. [Psalm 133]
