Wow! My fingers are finely clean and the heat gun has cooled off. It has been a crazy couple of weeks as I worked on ,and finished last night , the Christmas card orders. I do love my customers and would love to have a few more. A while back I posted the designs offered this year. And the results?

Plus 12 general greeting cards. All stamped, sealed and ready to deliver first thing after Thanksgiving. I want them all to enjoy the family time before having to address all of these cards.
Now…..does any one know anything about starting an Etsy shop. This may be the best way to sell the Dingledodie cards. I was introduced to this by MaryAnne at Scrappystickyinkymess. I have followed her for a long time on her blog and she is the reason I make Kennedy Word books for all of my grandchildrens first birthday presents. There is something about your own name that pleases everyone.
Time to think about THE dinner. I’ll be cooking. It has been a while but maybe I can pull it off. Maybe.

Aww, Beverly, these are just beautiful. They have a gentle feel of love about them. Something soft and delicate in feeling. Not like the brash, hard ready made things you can buy in the shops. These really do hold a feeling in them.
I’ve looked over them three or four times, trying to choose my most favourite one. Hmm… difficult choice. They’re all so very different.
So … if I only had enough money to buy just one of the selection, I think I’d buy . . . . [drumroll]. . . . The Red Poinsettia card! Only because I love red. (I’m a huge red gingham fan! lol). But seriously … all the cards are perfect. Each one has its own little touches which make it desirable, and each one is truly lovely.
Well done, you clever, talented thing.

Good luck with your dinner. I’ve been the main cook for the last four years, since we moved away from family. I used to do all the pies. It was lovely to get my part done ahead, then all I had to do was play for the church service and take the pies to the gathering.
OOOH…a pie cooker. Jolly good. I’m surprised at the number of people who don’t bake pies. I love pies…pecan, apple, lemon you name it.
The pie I’m not making this year is John’s favorite. It’s cranberry mincemeat. I found it in a cookbook when mincemeat was so expensive. It calls for lots of raisins, some fresh apple chunks, a can of cranberry sauce, and spices. I’ll make it for John between Thanksgiving and Christmas this year. I’ve already made and frozen a pumpkin cheesecake, and a guest is bringing a blackberry cake. Daughter Lise adores pumpkin pie, so I’ll make that this coming Friday so it is waiting for her when she flies in from Denmark. Since you love pies, do you also bake them?
I do but not very often now that it is just me.
