You’re being distracted

Brian Lazewski's avatarAbsolute Truth from the Word of God

Of all things in this fallen world, one thing that sets me into anger is Injustice and her evil-twin Double Standard. Brethren, this is our present reality in these last days. In my homeland, I have too often seen the full weight of government agencies with unlimited resources seek to utterly and completely destroy anyone they deem guilty, by any means necessary, and without fair due process. Conversely, we have seen the same officials cover the tracks of the truly wicked and watch as there is no justice meted out. The LORD God tells us this is an abomination to Him:

“You shall not have in your bag differing weights, a heavy and a light. You shall not have in your house differing measures, a large and a small. You shall have a perfect and just weight, a perfect and just measure, that your days may be lengthened in the…

Christians are being persecuted. We are so far removed from this we may forget. Please pray for our brothers and sisters.

Persecution is real. It happens every day.

The problem with racism as the new thought-crime is that it’s not really about race,
or skin colour, it’s about power using colour.
When I look at someone, I see character not colour.

Dr. Gavin Ashenden

A page from Moses Harris’s The Natural System of Colors. Image via Wikimedia Commons.

As a high school art teacher, I always taught a color theory unit to my Art I classes
before letting everyone jump right into using color…be it colored pencils, pastels, paints, etc.
Color was much more complicated than just grabbing some paint and a brush…
and my anxious charges needed to understand such.

We would explore the whole physiology of how our eyes and brain see color and perceive color.
We talked about prisms, refraction and the bending of light.

We would talk about what it meant to be color blind…as several of my students were color
blind and how’d…

The Mask Master

For such a time as this.

Terry James's avatarTerry James Prophecy Line

I want to let it go, but I can’t. It’s central to the very wrap-up of this quickly fleeting age.

The mask is a symbol of the work of the most enslaving master ever to exist. The mask master is working his deluding evil and sophistry in ways that could not have been imagined even by Orwell, Huxley, or any of the dystopian fiction writers of past or present. And, that slave-master has done so in only a matter of a few months in ways that are astounding.

The realization is brought into high-definition focus in an audio that was brought to my attention the past week. I’m sure a number of readers here have already viewed it.

I hope it hasn’t been removed by the time you try to access it.  Here’s the link:

(I had slight difficulty in getting to the audio, so I hope you don’t experience…

Brethren, yes, I get it. The world is bombarding us with 24/7 doom and gloom such as riots, looting, lawlessness, COVID 19, political corruption, wars, terror, and all other forms of Godlessness you can imagine. People are losing their jobs for speaking out against such evils, churches are being fined for meeting, and even the United States Supreme Court upheld a violation of the 1st amendment, limiting the number of people that can attend a church service.

We believers are under attack from all sides and angles. Sadly, many believers are not even aware that they are being distracted and conditioned for something with a hidden agenda. Indeed, many genuine believers are drowning in fear. We would expect this from the unsaved people of the world as the events of the day are hopeless to them. But, why are many in the church cowering in fear? From pastors and elders…

This article was originally written in 2015. After seeing conversations online between Christians, I see that it is time to republish the piece. The lack of discernment within the body of Christ is alarming. “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have […]

francesrogers's avatarGod's Grace ~ God's Glory!

We are losing our minds to the world’s way of thinking. Even Christians are forgetting that God gave us the gift of memory by which to store His precious Word.

Electronic devices are good in their place, but they can never give us life or accompany us to the grave.

When we are dying, we cannot hold a phone in our hands. If the only data we have is stored in our devices, our spirit and soul will have nothing to hold to.

As God’s people, we must commit to memory the truths of His Word. This is the only means for living and dying in peace with Him.

Psalm 119, the longest chapter in the Bible, teaches us the importance of God’s Word. The following are a few of these verses as my prayer.

 Psalm 119:

11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not…

THE SOVEREIGNTY OF GOD A SWEET PILLOW FOR GOD’S SHEEP

David Qaoud

Fewer doctrines of the Christian faith are more comforting than the sovereignty of God. It humbles you in good seasons, provides hope in hard seasons, and gives joy in all seasons. The doctrine of God’s sovereignty is a constant nourishment for the soul.
But how do we DEFINE sovereignty?

A.W. Pink defines it this way: “The sovereignty of God may be defined as the exercise of his supremacy. Being infinitely elevated above the highest creature, He is the Most High, Lord of heaven and earth. Subject to none, influenced by none, absolutely independent; God does as He pleases, only as He pleases.”

This is true. But we must not be mere academics only. We have to apply this truth not just to our minds, but also to our hearts. If we do the former without the latter, we…
