Beverly Parkison aka Lateblooming Designs

Back to the Regular Program

Let me tell you, I have fallen in love with the dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs that are part of Susan Tierney Cockburn’s Garden Notes. She showcases them on Wednesday mornings on live facebook. Check out TheGARDENSPOTLIVE. New die are out and oh my they are so real looking. Takes practice but even she has a challenge or two on the show.

Last week she was demoing her tulips and they kept opening up too much. Well she eventually got hers to stay…mine haven’t just yet.

  1. Gorgeous. Love the colours.

  2. They still look good though, Beverly. If I were to do that, mine would look just like flat pieces of paper…

  3. Beautiful! The colors and dimensions are great. Of course I love the sentiment too!

  4. Well my goodness – this is a beauty of a card.
The colours are perfect and all practically sing together. Really well brought together.
The ‘greenery’ is perfect and I’m fascinated by how you got the blending of the colours on those leaves – and the veins are so precise. Did you make the leaves Bev, or are they created that way and purchased? They’re incredible.

The tulips are brilliant – and the shaping is great. The shapes are great, for it’s just like a natural tulip. Not all of them are that ‘perfect’ shape – mostly they do have a bit of an irregularity about them, so this makes your Tulips perfect.
Love the little pink flowers – I do know what they’re called but my brain cell is refusing to give the information to me. (bl**dy brain cell!!! grrr)

All in all … this card is perfection. You are SO talented Bev… and for some reason that I can’t fathom, you don’t see how great a crafter you are. YOU ARE BRILLIANT!
Sending oodles of love and squidges ~ Cobs. xxx
