We are currently living in the age of the tattoo. A Harris 2015 online survey poll of 2,225 American adults found that 29% have tattoos. That was up from 21% just four years earlier. And of those who have a tattoo, 69% have two or more. I guess once you take the plunge and get one, you have no qualms about getting another one.

According to the poll, the demographics of tattooed people break down as follows: (I’ll provide a definition for each age group, but please understand that there isn’t always total agreement on when an age group begins and ends.)

  • Millennials (born between 1980 and 2000): 47% have at least one tattoo, and 37% have at least two.
  • Generation Xers (born between 1965 and 1980): 36% have at least one tattoo, and 24% have at least two.
  • Baby Boomers (born between 1946 and 1964): 13% have at least…

Why Do I Need A Misti?

Well there is a very good reason. Misti is a stamp positioning tool .Misti stands for the  Most Incredible Stamp Tool Invented and it was invented by My Sweet Petunia which is one of the places you can get one. Now here is why you should have one if you are a stmper.

It really is amust have. And when making a whole lot of cards ,or what ever, the stamp stays in place and you can just stamp to your hearts content. (Now why didn’t I think of this )

This new stamp is from Penny Black. I won one of the blog hops and goodness it is hard to decide what to get when you NEED every thing Penny Black has. But after lookin and looking I settled on these two background stamps.

Save the lemon tree

It is finely here…cooler fall weather . Yes I  have had to turn on some heat and the dog looks like she would like to be in instead of out but not just yet Babe. Now Journey End Farm isn’t much of a farm since the farmer left but there is still the lemon tree. This poor tree must have a will to live because it has almost died several times. One year the cold did get it and a good bit of the tree really did die. Then for a couple of years there were no blooms and the bugs were really bad. But…this year there are BIG beautiful lemons and a lot of them. Couple of dozen or so. Here are two pictures taken after I managed to clean out around the tree and water it really well so I could close up the hoop house (green house). The hoop house has been and still is in need of a revamp which I feel is in the very near future. It hasn’t been in full production in several years and there are changes coming. The buckets are under heavy branches for support . That is how big and heavy the fruit is.

The second picture shows the bay tree in the background that is trying to grow out the top. I think I thought it would be a bush when I planted it years ago. This is one reason there are changes coming. What a mess my hoop house is in.

Thank you for all the new visitors. Please leave a comment so I know you were here. Just say” Hi”.  Until next time do have a grand weekend and remember  This is the Lords day…Rejoice!

I’m amazed that this message is so unpopular. Regardless of how much they hate hearing it, we need to love the lost enough to say it. I hope you’ll enjoy this video as much as I did, beloved. As always, be good Berean’s and study to show yourselves approved.

Just so you know I have been busy.

Thank you Whitneyibeblogg for the nomination for the Sunshine Blogger Award  I enjoy reading everyone else and will give the questions a go.

1.What’s your inspiration? My inspiration changes from day-to-day. It might be something in Nature or something seen on the net or even my sweet grands. Life its self should be enough inspiration for us all to do our best.

  1. What is the best thing you’ve done this year? Oh goodness. .I think just getting through the first year after my husbands sudden passing has been my best achievement to date. Until you have been there you just can’t really understand.
  2. Who is your style icon? For blogging I am constantly in awe of the blogs I follow. They have great in site into this crazy world we call home. And their tech abilities surpass mine which are very elementary.
  3. Would you encourage other people to make their blog? Of course. You never know what will happen until you just jump in there and take a stab at it.
  4. If you were to change one thing in your life, what would it be?I really don’t think I would change any thing. I believe we are all where we are for a reason and that our Heavenly Father has everything under control
  5. What is your safe haven? My home, my sons and my grand kids.
  6. What is your favorite meal? Right now food doesn’t have much appeal but maybe Sunday morning waffles. It is just different eating them alone after 50 years.
  7. When are you most productive? I love early morning. One of the blogs I follow calls it her “early service.” I love that.
  8. What do you do in your spare time? Spare time? Rare but I do  like to sit on the porch in the swing and enjoy nature. Good time for my Bible reading and quite time alone with myself and God. This is a funny question for someone my age who really should have all the time in the world. I just need to stay busy to keep my self from falling into a self pity party.
  9. What was the most challenging moment in your blogging journey so far? Getting a blog out there is a challenge. Tech and I just don’t travel in the same circle. LOL
  10. What super power would you want if you could have one? Wouldn’t it be fun to be able to wave a magic wand and change the direction of this crazy world. To make everyone love every one else. To be able to open everyone’s eyes and heart to our loving Heavenly Father.
  11. Well, I’ve run out of space …Thank you Whitney. Your blog is one of my go tos.

Scripture Reading: I John 5:1-12 “Whoever believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself. Whoever does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has borne concerning His Son. And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life and this […]
